RCD Protected Circuits - Module 3A

Aims and objectives

This one day course covers the use of RCD’s and RCD protected circuits explaining how, when, where and which type of RCD to use in different situations, along with functional testing procedures employed.

• RCD functionality
• RCD protected circuits, for protection against indirect contact, for supplementary protection against direct contact, and for protection against fire and thermal effects
• Practical workshop constructing RCD protected ring and radial final circuits
• Practical inspection and testing of circuits previously constructed with the inclusion of RCD functional test.
