Overview

City and Guilds components are now delivered to the 17th Edition

These comprehensive electrical courses fully meet the certification requirements of Part P schemes and are aimed at non-electrical and electrical personal wishing to up skill or re-train. The aim of the courses is to provide a level of competence, which will allow work to be safely and efficiently carried out on Electrical Equipment and Systems all within a 4 or 6 week period.

After completing the course you can if you require sign up with our recognised electrical company and work alongside them, gaining valuable further experience on real jobs. (subject to availability)

A 4 week course which gives you the foundation knowledge you need to commence working as a domestic electrician. The courses are a mixture of both practical work and theoretical study, with the emphasis being put on as much practical as possible.

This course can be supplemented to a 6 week course with additional modules to enhance your existing skills and therefore widen your market.

The course comprising of:

  • Module 1 - Basic Electrical Generic Module
  • Module 2 - Domestic Electrical Part 1:- Domestic Wiring Circuit
  • City and Guilds 2382-10 - 17th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • City and Guilds 2377-12 - Portable Appliance Testing
  • City and Guilds 2391-10 - Inspection and Testing
  • City and Guilds 2392-10 - Fundamental Inspection, Testing and Initial Verification (Recently added to course specification)
  • Emta Awards Limited (EAL) Certificate for Domestic Electrical Installers
  • Construction Skills (CITB) - Essential Electrics Module
    (Recently added to course specification)
NOTE - These Courses offer Nationally Recognised Qualifications Essential in the Workplace 

The above courses are inclusive of examination registration entry fees, buffet lunch, stationary, course notes and a FREE tool kit for you to keep. Although all the publications and test instrumentation required for the course will be available for use during the course, should you require to purchase you own, advice will be readily available to assist you with your selection. These items can either be pre-ordered or purchased during the course.
