Description
Overview
There are three CNC courses offered by Technique Training: a single Level One course and two Level Two courses. The Level Two courses require prior attendance in the associated Level One course.
Level 1
An Introduction to CNC (2 days)
This course gives a basic overview of CNC programming, the commands used and the idiosyncrasies of different systems. Various different programming techniques are introduced.
Level 2
Operation and Programming of a CNC Mill or Lathe (3 days)
There are separate Level Two courses for the mill and the lathe. They use more sophisticated virtual CNC equipment and provide a more complex and realistic learning environment. Using manufacturer specific commands the candidate will be shown how to write, modify and trace through machine code to produce a finished product from a drawing.
