Resettlement
Resettlement training is your opportunity to gain the skills and experience you will need for a new career before leaving the Armed Forces. Don't be tempted by exotic locations or get rich quick schemes, make sure you choose a proven training and support programme that will get you into an industry that has jobs available and can offer a secure future. Get serious about your preparations for rejoining the outside world. Technique Training offers a range of courses, including intensive electrical and air conditioning and refrigeration training courses.
The MoD's Enhanced Learning Credits Scheme (ELC) is an initiative to promote lifelong learning amongst members of the Armed Forces. The ELC scheme provides financial support in the form of a single up-front payment in each of a maximum of three separate financial years. You are reminded that ELC funding is only available for pursuit of higher level learning i.e. for courses that result in a nationally recognised qualification at Level 3 or above on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) (England and Wales), a Level 6 or above on the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) or, if pursued overseas, an approved international equivalent qualification. Most of the courses offered by Technique Training are level 3 qualifications.
Complete and submit an ELC claim form (available at www.enhancedlearningcredits.com) and have it approved by your Education Staff. ELCAS must receive this from at least 15 clear working days prior to the commencement of your chosen course.
Any further questions then please feel free to call one of our team on 01246 810444 or email if you prefer.
Our ELC number is 1408 should you require it.
